Local Singer/Songwriter donates CD’s to help Hope Pregnancy Resource Center

Wausau, WI June 3, 2008  –  Robin Patrick, local Wausau resident is donating her latest CD, “Beyond What I Believe” in hopes of raising $24,000 for the The Hope Pregnancy Resource Center.  Robin has been singing since she was 13 years old. She recorded her first CD called “You Believed in Me” in Knoxville, TN in 1996.  Robin has performed at various Christian Music Festivals such as Lifest and Atlantafest. She recently was picked up by a new radio station, www.sockspiderradio.com, that broadcasts new artists online all over the world including Australia, Bulgaria, Canada, England, Germany and Japan, as well as in the Unites States.

Robin and her husband and three children currently reside in Wausau and she is owner of Moxie Design Studio. She came up with the idea to donate CD’s to Hope Pregnancy because she wanted to make a difference in this world and help charitable causes such as HOPE Pregnancy Resource Center. She has also donated CD’s to other charitable causes such as “Project Africa” which helps needy children in Nigeria.

“My true hope and desire behind doing these CDs was that in a world where there are so many needs and charities asking for money that I thought maybe if I offer this CD for FREE in return for donating $20 to HOPE we can start to making a difference for them one person at a time” says Robin Patrick.

For more information on Robin’s CD’s, please contact Janna Janke, Executive Director of Hope Pregnancy Resource Center at 715-843-4673.  Website: www.hopewausau.org or Robin’s website at www.robinpatrick.com.
